So I'm taking advantage of VIR's winter driving packages, and I'm renting North Course on Thursday, Feb 16th ... the day before the NASA weekend.

$350 ... 6 track sessions, 6 cars on track per session, 20 min sessions. +1 30 min session (1st come, 1st served) at the end of the day. Looking to get three groups of 6 cars total.

Entry fee includes one night lodging at VIR Lodge or Paddock Suites AND three meals.

Working on MotorsportReg site now... post here or email/PM me if interested.

Great question, glad you asked!

Basically, it's per car, and since each car will be limited to one run group... I'll allow driver swaps (4 drivers MAX). (This will later on be a perk of Asphalt Ventures membership... but I don't quite have everything set up properly to require it for this event.)

Multiple drivers will need to be registered and accounted for through MotorsportReg.com, preferably managed by one person from the team... MotorsportReg is set up for this:

Thanks Stacy!

You can count our group in. I'll sign up for it later this evening once we know who will attend.

Real quick question...

Do both LeMons and Chump require street legal tires?

Yes

180 or 190+ treadwear (can't remember the exact number)

I'm not putting it anywhere else right now until I get the reg pages open.

I'll hopefully get details on the rooms tomorrow

Next time check my annual "Take the wife on a mid winter so I get to race, ride motorcycles, and golf cruise " schedule before you set the date.

Ah.. right. 3 groups of 6 cars total, and 6 sessions that day. So that will only give us (2) 20 min sessions?

"The CAR" will have SIX 20 minute sessions ... so if you're sharing the entry with three drivers... yes, two 20 minute sessions each driver. (Plus an extra 30 minute session at the end of the day if you're one of the first six cars on track)

Ok, that is what I originally thought! Good!

Let me know if you need some help filling spots. I probably know two people that would be interested in just coming out for a solo day.

Thanks!!!
