Yep, called them this morning and the receptionist pretty much begged me to come next week instead of this week. Sounds like a lot of the cars that are heading to VIR this weekend are heading to PC this week. She mentioned they have work to keep them there till 8p every day till this weekend.

Maybe I can see if Asian imports can figure out the Miata's cam bolt adjustments.

If they can't figure out strut cam bolts, how do expect them to figure out eccentrics that adjust both camber AND caster/toe simultaneously. It'd blow their mind :).

What time is registration open on Friday? I think I remember reading driver's meeting at 7:30AM but I don't know what time registration is open.

Great weekend everyone! Registration, classroom, meetings and track sessions ran wonderfully smooth by my observations. Glad to see a lot of friendly faces and meet some new ones. Thanks for a fun weekend!

Agreed! I had a fantastic time. Although it was my first track event, it appeared to run smooth despite the huge number of cars. I couldn't believe how the days flew by. Thanks to everyone who I know worked very hard to make this event happen. Thanks to Frank - a great instructor. He was knowledgeable, encouraging, patient, but not bashful about suggesting we dial it back as I got sloppy.

I wish I could make the CMP event - I gotta do this again!

Well, it helps when you're a pretty good student too .... I would have never guessed it was your first time on track - great job.
Hope to ride with you again ...

Aww - poor wittle Stevie - I'll buy you a cookie.

I take back my taunt - those cookies were excellent - thanks Debbie!

Excellent TH event as always - the open track time on Friday was awesome.

I may not be first on track, but I can be first with video  -

Why am I checking my mirrors so much? There was a gutted GTR in our group, and that thing would teleport in from nowhere!

I think I have some good footage of Ron and a pack of SpecE30s too.

That GT-R was just shy of 700 HP, lightened, and running at least 315 rubber all around. I got to expience it's awesomeness as he passed me right before the up hill esses. As we pulled out of 10 he put about 8-10 car lengths on me. As I came out of oak tree he was going over the top of the hill.

wow.

It was a fantastic weekend. The Mustang was a blast to drive thanks to my brand new Nitto NT-01's. I gave a few rides and some seemed quite surprised that a new generation Mustang doesn't suck.

Congrats to all my students who learned a lot and seemed to have a good time while doing so.
