I checked today and there were still rooms available at the lodge. Camping is an option as well, make your reservations with VIR.

Is there a camping fee at VIR? I couldn't find the info on their site or where to pay it really.

Anyone willing to split a room at The Lodge or perhaps the Paddock Double?

I've brought the camper there before as a spectator, and was planning to bring the camper for this event - until I lost my co-driver. I don't know how to get both the camper and the car there. So am I crazy to just commute back and forth each day from WF?

I guess my other option is to put the car on the trailer and "camp" in the back of the Excursion. :D

OK, it's time for the BIG PUSH. Only a couple of weeks until our next event.
It's the largest track event that THSCC has ever attempted--3 DAYS on VIR-Full Course.

We need more drivers from the Club. Remember, you don't need a prep'd car, just a safe car. Hell, we've had drivers show up with Caprice's and Volvo wagons... and they have a blast.

This will be the ultimate track experience, with beaucoup track time, the best Instructors in the business---all for $495. We still are offering our $50-off referral program for first-time student drivers (you refer a first-timer, you get $50 off, they get $25 off. Multiple referrals nets you multiple rewards. Easy, eh?)

Lodging suggestion: Sleep Inn on US58 is $76/night AARP rate (just tell 'em your father is arriving later, or wear a disguise), if you don't want to pay the $120 VIR Lodge rate.

Your Track Team really needs your participation on this one. If you haven't driven a track event in a while, come to VIR with us for the weekend.

Brad, you may regret that when you see I dragged Jonathan Rodriguez and that old crusty supra back to this event. Can't wait!

I'm finally signed up. Blew all of my vacation time going to Europe this summer, so I can't do Friday. We've started camping in the hauler and really prefer that to hotelling. Debbie will be there with cookies for the worthy, so it should be a good time.

Do whatever you need to do to become worthy. Those cookies rock.

Back on topic - I'll miss this one, but I should be at CMP in the new-to-me car in October.
