The rear seat gets wet when it rains.

and all the electrical connectors
and all the shit you put in the trunk no matter how many tarps you use

Yeah, we either need a car condom or a garage so we can store it inside. My neighbors already love me having 5 cars in the yard along with two trailers.

Heh. What rear seats?

(Just don't remove the glass at the track Saturday night with a screw driver, Danny.)

I think that is def a goal that is in the plans, but I am okay with taking "baby" steps in order to get there. Would I love to see a THSCC podium sweep at one of these races, absolutely. Would be awesome

Will we be apart of that, who knows

you've obviously never met "that damn Probe" :x

For the record, Simon kicked that damn Probe's ass on Saturday :) Felt good.

I didn't have a chance to go talk to the guys, but I don't think they had all of their A drivers.

Now we can talk about that damn v6 MR2 and that damn Z32 300ZX... :)

Already heard about the v6 MR2, I can't fathom a way that is a "true" $500 car.

there is no such thing as a true $500 car Ryan only $500 legal cars.

the motor swap is documented via cost of the motor vs value of the shell. apparently Camry motors are dirt cheap. and since Chump allows freshening of un-reliable motors any work to "refresh" a V6 is legal. and the AIV on MR2s is low i guess.

Jap shit is cheap on the intra-webz, i don't have to tell you this.

People can say what they want about the Lemons BS judging, but IMO they have kept the really fast 'cheater' cars in check waaaay better than Chump's AIV system.

well parts might not be cheap but actual cars (AIV) are cheap. granted the really desirable cars hold a premium but there are so many Hondas & Toyotas in the market that finding cheap examples for documentation is quite easy.

keep in mind AIV doesn't have to include your actual car (another Chump loophole) only comparable running examples of your car.

I found 1 Mr2 on Crazedlist in the Midatlantic region for under $500 (and I think it was even the wrong generation). I saw the word rare more than 10 times.

Of course in about 20 mins I could fabricate 10 Craigslist ads for a MR2's under $500. :user:

Good to know. I was thinking of "refreshing" our V-6 with 5.0 or Triton V-10 one day.... and to think, that Chump dude clipped me for a lap because we had a strut tower brace on the V-6 mustang (they came on the 5.0 models but not the v-6) to keep the windshield from cracking....

They had that MR2 up at VIR testing in Jan and it is wicked fast.
