I've been asked by Tony Sorrentino <Tony@svtcobraclub.com> to put out the word that they have additional slots needing to be filled for NON-Novice entrants for their upcoming three day SVT Superfest 2011 - SAAC-36 -- May 27-29, 2011 on the VIR-Grand East Course. He may also need a couple Instructors, especially for Friday the 27th.

If you're up for running the 'Grand' this is obviously a great chance. Their format also allows for picking and choosing to run only the days you wish, so if say you wanted to do a one day deal Friday and have the rest of the weekend for Memorial Day activities you've got that choice.

They are listed on Motorsportreg.com however do not conduct any registration through them, although it starts you out like it will. So save your time and go straight to the following SVT Cobra Club Forum link for the info needed.

http://www.svtcobraclub.com/forums/show ... hp?t=18154

If you have trouble going through their on line registration you may need to dLoad the PDF form located at the end of Post #1 of the thread and send a scan to Tony. Instructors will have to use the dLoad and email scan because it doesn't automatically 'comp' you for the fees, etc. With the 'email it in to Tony' Instructor registration, the procedure is to mark it up as to the days you wish to attend placing a zero in the 'amount owed' column, and if interested in the numerous other amenities, such as the banquets, etc. choose them, but do add in their costs. Instructors may also waive the 'Gate Fees' it says everyone has to pay. Then where it lists 'Rate Your Performance Level', mark through it all and write in 'Instructor'.

All 'on track' entrants must be a member of SCMC, SAAC, SVTOA or the SCMC's sister club, Track Club USA.

If you need further info you can try Tony at (803) 371-0725.

Is that confusing 'nuff... I thought so... ';)

FWIW I only choose to post this since there's no head to head conflict with THSCC events as I don't wish to put my 'home' club at a disadvantage especially when times are so lean.

Steve

PS: Anyone looking to share a room for Sat night only at The Best Western with this OF, or already have a suite and wanna dole out the couch or some floor space I'd be appreciative.
