Is TurboTime in Cary going to be added as an approved inspection facility?

Not sure about that, but... You're not limited to using an "approved" inspection facility. We accept a tech form which has been completed by any qualified professional mechanic. Examples might be independent repair shops, dealers, race prep shops, etc. We also recognize current log-books from Sanctioning motorsports organizations such as SCCA, NASA, NASCAR, F1, World of Outlaws, etc.

All we require is the mechanic performing the inspection (not the car owner) sign or stamp the form to certify the car meets the technical and safety requirements outlined on the Inspection Form. Our main areas of interest are fluid leaks, suspension components, bushings, bearings, exhaust systems and brake systems. We expect these to be solid and in exemplary condition.

Ultimately, of course, you, the driver, are responsible for bringing a car to the event that is safe and track-worthy. At the event, your Instructor will give your car a once-over and go over your "Day-of-Event" tech sheet to verify some basic safety items. But our Instructors always have the last word as to whether a car is safe to take on-track. After all, it's also their ass in that 100-mph missle, right? :)

Ok, so if TurboTime does my inspection, where do I get a sticker?

They are subaru specialists so it would seem logical they would be able to properly inspect the car.

With Ken at KNS brakes literally next door, I figure he can inspect the braking system and advise me as well.

Have the car Inspected.
Have the mechanic sign the form.
Bring the form to check-in / registration at your first THSCC event.

You will receive your annual tech sticker at the track. :)
