I've got a big bucket of money to spend on some car people and was wondering how I'd go about buying a HPDE. I've done it with drag strips before, I turn over a bucket of money and they set up a day of racing (bracket races, easy stuff for street cars, with a brief training session on how to bracket race and cash prizes for 1-2-3), concessions, track staff, etc. I can charge admission (or not) to recoup expenses, make it closed or open, depending on how many people I round up, etc. The size and popularity of the facility generally determine the size of the bucket that is required.

Who would I call if I wanted to do basically the same thing with a HPDE?

Also looking for ballpark pricing so I can run it by management and get approval.

Thanks

Roger, I know exactly who you should talk to. Jon Krolewicz at Seat Time:

He puts together events for smaller groups all the time. I talked to him about it a bit at the NCAC, and was surprised how inexpensive it can be. I mean, it's not gonna be $20 per person, but it was very reasonable.

Thanks, I'll call Jon and see what it would take to get it set up.
