So I wanted to thank those who cam out saturday and helped with course set up. Wes, Gerich, Jake, Vincent, Scott, Kevin, Shawn and Mitch, two of these guys are novices who have never even run with THSCC yet.
Yes it was definitely nice to see some new faces at setup on Saturday, thanks guys.

Nice to see more people get involved to lessen the burden on those who usually seem to do all the work. It still amazes me the number of people that seem to think the officers just have a fancy title along with their magic wand to make our events happen.
The T&T did pretty much go off without a hitch. Wait let me correct that statement. Actually the "off" did cause us to use a "hitch" or at least a tow hook. It seems cold tires on the
very first run aren't sticky enough to go through a decreasing slalom at WOT.

Nothing got bent though, so no harm, no foul.
A word of caution to anyone thinking of buying a Miata.
DO NOT let Brad Mackey talk you into driving his car. He may have to twist your arm and beg, but don't give in. If you take the bait you will have to buy one, then want to spend even more money to make it handle like his. That car is seriously hooked up even on Sanford's gritty surface. I can't imagine it how well it could stick on the concrete at Laurinburg. Thanks a lot Brad for letting me beat on your car yesterday and making me have to spend more money on mine.

Then we put the courses together and those who wanted got 3 full course 60-70sec fun runs with several 3rd gear points.
Adam, I think every course at an airport-type venue should have at least one third gear segment.
See a lot of you back in Sanford this coming Sunday.
