Well, I'm still in. Also available for EARLY morning setup on Saturday. Let us know when to be there...

Kevin

PS - this will give me more time to look at used cars on Friday! :D

Man, I knew I should have left the Blizzaks on the Miata ....

From the NWS:

900 AM EST THU FEB 26 2004

.UPDATE...
THE WINTER WEATHER WEATHER ADVISORY IN MARLBORO...DILLON...
ROBESON...AND BLADEN COUNTIES HAS BEEN UPGRADED TO A WINTER STORM
WARNING. REPORTS OF 4 OR MORE INCHES OF SNOW/SLEET ACCUMULATION HAS
ALREADY BEEN RECEIVED IN SPOTS.

I've not seen any reports from Lee County yet .

As of 0935 from NWS, this looks like a real snow :

THIS IS SHAPING UP TO BE A MAJOR WINTER STORM FOR CENTRAL NC. PLAN
TO INCREASE SNOW AMOUNTS IN THE FAR W AND NW TO 6-12" WITH AMOUNTS
OF 4-8 INCHES ALONG THE US 1 CORRIDOR. ALONG AND EAST OF I-95...
EXPECT BURST OF HEAVY SNOW THIS MORNING WITH AMOUNTS 2-5 INCHES THEN
TRANSITION TO SLEET/FREEZING RAIN LATE TODAY/TONIGHT WITH POTENTIAL
FOR ICE ACCUMULATION OF A QUARTER OF AN INCH BEFORE PRECIP
TRANSITIONS BACK TO SNOW FRI MORNING AS UPPER LOW PASSES SOUTH OF
REGION WITH POTENTIAL FOR ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 1 TO 3
INCHES.

THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR A BAND OF EXTREMELY HEAVY SNOW SOMEWHERE
IN THE PIEDMONT. HOWEVER CONFIDENCE NOT HIGH ENOUGH YET TO HIGHLIGHT
POTENTIAL AREA OR AMOUNTS. THIS WILL REQUIRE CONSTANT MESOSCALE
MONITORING AND FREQUENT UPDATES TODAY/TONIGHT.-WSS

And I drove our Miata to work today to get the new Azenis. :o Definitely not the snow tire of choice.

If NC gets 12" of snow they'll have to close the whole state! :help:

Well, if there's enough snow on the ground Saturday to cause the novice school to be cancelled, you know where I'll be and what I'll be doing. If somebody were to bring a few cones and a timer over and make it a little more interesting, I don't think anybody would stop them...

We have around 2 to 3 inches of snow and it's still coming down.

Waiting for Kevin to get home so we can go play in the field!

No rallyx planned, although you can stop by on the way to Sanford and play if you want.

Speaking of, what time is setup for test & tune planned for on Saturday?

I swapped out wheels Wednesday night (thanks Jason) to Azenis and had them on at work yesterday. I actually got permission from my boss to leave *before* it started snowing because of them. :P

Adam et al -- expect to see me Saturday around three. Does anybody have a bolt cutter or a cordless Dremel?
