Given the sloped site at GSO, the only sweepers that you'll have will either be camber challenged or they'll help you out. They aren't level like you see at Sanford or slightly crowned at Danville where every sweeper works against you except for the turnaround at the top of the hill.

Dave O'Maley just confirmed that the site doesn't come in until near the end of the third heat because of all of the grit on the surface, where the surfaces at Danville and Sanford tend to go away in the afternoon as the event progresses.

Those who are undecided , In addition to a great Autocross , we will also have more than $1200 worth of prizes to give away during the Trophy presentations. We also have an excellent Saturday Party and Karting event planned with a catered Mexican Meal, Free beer and discount Karting at Gran Prix Greensboro. SoloPro Driving School will also be there for Instructional help. I also intend on being able to do Fun Runs on Saturday afternoon, time permitting .This will be a great time for some SoloPro instruction.

I wonder how the SoloPro instruction would work in the middle of an event?

I'm trying to figure out what day to attend, since I've only got one day to spend. Wish I could do both, but this is just a warm-up to the real event, trying to beat my brother at a WV autocross the following weekend.

Greensboro rules... If you are on the fence and have never been there, just go!

It's really a fun venue and I wish I could make it.

Good luck Tarheel! 8)

Unfortunately it looks like Donna is going to have to work that weekend (inventory), and I am on the fence about going alone.

By this weekend do you mean "next weekend." NCAC is Oct. 10-11.

Default NCAC updates , again !
The NCAC Friday night registration and tech will be held at the
Greensboro Coliseum Parking lot from 6:30 - 8:30 .Registration and
Tech will also be open at their usual times on Saturday and Sunday
morning.
For the event paddock will be fairly tight near grid and the course
entrance , additional paddock space will be available in the lot
directly to your left as you enter the Coliseum Gates . If you wish to
paddock with a particular group this might be your best option as
there will be much more room in this lot. This lot also gives a full
course view from your paddock spot.
The new STR class has been added for the NCAC .If you wish you
can now change your class on our registration page.

The Club Cup format will be as follows :
We will take the club with the lowest NCAC entrants , take 80% of
their total entrants , and this will be the number we use to pull from
each of the remaining clubs.
We will then take that number and use the top Pax finishers for each
club and combine their Pax times for the Clubs total. Lowest combined
Pax time wins.
EX: Club "B" brings 10 members and is the lowest participating club,
we will use 80% or 8 members. We will then take the Top 8 Pax
Finishers from each club and combine their times for that clubs
NCAC score.

We would like to thank in Advance , each of our sponsors and
participants for helping bring this event to this point and I and the
Members of Triad Sports Car Club are looking forward to a great
event.

Lotus Cars USA informed me that the New Evora should be in the US
this week and they are looking forward to displaying the Evora and
several other Lotus Cars !

I like the 80% thing that they've done, it seems pretty fair.

Has anyone on here run at the coliseum site recently? I'm getting mixed reviews. Some people tell me it's small and not very enjoyable. Others tell me the courses there are usually very good, on the fast side, and that the site is great. Who's right?

I'm probably going to be out of town during the NCAC weekend anyway, but if I'm in town, going to the event is still under consideration. After all, I've got these 25-run Hoosiers sitting in the garage...
