All -

The time has come once again for the club to search for volunteers to drive the bus to Sanford for Saturday setup. We need a volunteer. In exchange, you get into the event for free. I may sweeten the deal by offering one broken S2000 sway bar endlink, just back from the DC Pro Solo!

Seriously, we need a bus driver for Saturday, July 18th. Apart from the free event, this is an easy bus driver assignment - you only have to drive it to the event. We already have the return trip handled.

If you're able and willing, please post here, or contact the autocross VPs directly through autocross@thscc.com.

Thanks!

Karl,
Bernie spoke with Dustin and Art last night about a possible idler pulley problem on the bus. The current plan is to take the bus to a guy here that’s done some work successfully for us in the past. That will happen Tues, the 14th. So, I’ll post when it’s repaired. So, don’t forget, the bus is currently in Bahama. Driver can call me @ 919-210-3741 for the current code to the gate.

Gwennie

Which isn't far out of the way for folks going to Danville from the Triangle.

Unless you know something that I don't, we're going to Sanford for the July 18 event. Don't go to Danville until Aug 8th.
The bus will come back to Bahama after the RX @ OCS on Aug 1st. But that's a story for another thread.

Perhaps. But it's still on the way to Danville.

Carry on.

I live in North Durham, so I can drive the bus driver/volunteer back to his/her car after the set-up on Saturday July 18. (The autocross itself is Sunday the 19th)

Still looking for someone to help the club get the bus to the event site on Saturday.

Without the bus, we don't have an event, so this is sort of important. Please help out if you can!

We're still looking for a bus driver for Saturday, to drive the bus from Pet's Companion Inn in scenic Bahama, to the Sanford airport. At bus speeds, I estimate this to be a 90 minute drive. I'll be happy to let you leave your car in my driveway in north Durham, drive you to Bahama and return you to your car once we have the course set-up.

The big perk is free entry to the autocross. You also get to see the course in advance (always advantageous to internalize the course layout by sleeping on it). Karl is still offering a fine selection of busted Honda parts.
