It was before my time, but someone told me that when THSCC used to have the night series at RBC, it was always the same course. Is that true?

No, not true.

Yeah, I think we used the same course maybe once. Hell we used different lots at times IIRC.

We used to have 2 day events at other venues too. If you didn't make day 1 - tough titty. I still think that would be a fun way to do a 2 day event

I only remember running the exact same course both days at RM, but yes, it was your fastest time out of both days that counted. It was up to you to decide whether to run both days or only one. Lots of drivers had pretty pow'ful hangovers on Sundays after a night of hard partying at the Comfort Inn...

I could swear we did a two day event at Laurinburg one time with the same course both days and your best run of the two days is what counted. And I never ran at RM, so I'm not confusing it with that...

We did, I think it was the year after the final RM event our 40th anniversary event.

Yeah, Christine and I chaired that one. Same course both days. I think it rained in the morning one of those days, though.

The Rocky Mt 2-day events were one of the two NCAC events that THSCC hosted each year. We ran the same course both days since some folks (particularly from the western part of the state) could not attend both days.
