ok, this is the call for special positions for this weekend. We need folks lined up to for....

> timing and scoring (T&T is just for timing/display, Sunday is the real deal) Saturday, Stephen Westerfield. Sunday, Todd Breaky and crew.
> bus (Stephen Westerfield)
> gate workers (both days) If I remember correctly, we have 2 shifts per day
sat 7-8 open
sat 8-9 open
sun 7-8 Jeb B
sun 8-9 Neal H
> registrar
> novice coordinators
**********
> car tech, Ryan Holton and Mike Westerfield

I think we have enough volunteers to help w/ set up on both days.

Anything else I'm missing? I'm still new to this, so I'm feeling my way around.

T&S for Sunday will be taken care of. Stephen and I were talking about it this morning.

I will not be there on Saturday as I have a prior commitment (see sig below.) but I am planning on being there on Sunday.

Todd, can you recommend someone to take over the T&S for Saturday then? I'd like to have someone w/ experience setting this up. I can do it if you mail me some detailed instructions.

Rodney, I can also help setup the timer/computer on Saturday (as long as my plans do not change)

What are you looking to do? If it is just set up the equipment for you, I can take care of that. To my knowledge we've never had anything more than the timer running for reference at a T&T or novice school. Other than that it is just someone being near/in the bus to reset it for false triggers. Either way, I've got you covered.

I can take the second gate shift. What time do I need to be there in the morning?

Actually, I can novice coordinate on Sunday since I'm not event chair for that. But you can help Charlie and I by helping some of the Novices that you trained the day before :-)

Again, just put me wherever so I don't have to pick up cones. I'll need that between-sessions time to put parts back on the car.

Here's a solution: :beerbuds:

I can help with the Novices on Sunday too since I don't get to change wheels anymore. :(

I'd love to be there Saturday but I have to work.

The Sunday gates are covered, by Jeb B and Neil. We (Don and Kendt) have the gate taken care of for the next several "POINTS" events. We don't have anything set up for NONPOINNTS events except the JV session.
Peace,
Don
