OK, I've taken all the instructors from the novice school thread so we can consolidate who is going to instruct and for how long. I've made assumptions on this list, so PLEASE get back to me ASAP to validate that you are going to instruct. On top of that I need to know if you are going to instruct a full day or half day due to the T&T. If you are half day, I need to know if you are instructing in the morning or afternoon.

This also puts a squeeze on the club for food. Normally we would feed both the students and instructors. If you are instructing all day, you'll get lunch. Since we have some part time instructors, I need to know if you would like lunch as well.

Either reply to this thread, PM, email or call me w/ your plans so we can get this list up to date. My number is 919.602.3348.

Instuctor | full/half day | lunch | morning/afternoon

Phil Fausz | out
Rodney Wright | full | y
Rob Lupella | full | y
Christopher Lin | full | y
Gwen Baake | full | y
Bernie Baake | full | y
Hersh Tapadia | full | y
Michael Miller | full | y
Karl Shultz on the fence
David Spratte | full | y
Kendt Eklund | full | y possible if car not fixed!
Brice Johnson | full | y
Mary Johnson | full | y
Carlton Whitehead | full | y
Colin OConnell | full | y
Alex Maier | full | y
William Gravely | full | y
Carl Fisher | full | y
Emmie Fisher | full | y
Jeb Brookshire | half | ? | ?
Lee Williams | full | y
Charlie Monroe | full | y
**************
Stephen Westerfield | will help based on what we need

Right now this count puts us at 23 which is what we need to cover any one that develops a conflict. The school is full, so please be prepared to offer the students the benefits of your autocross knowledge.

Thank you for volunteering to instruct!!!

I'm good for all day, but if the opportunity arises to get a little T&T time I'd like to.

You'll be able to drive the course before the students take over and also be able to go out during lunch. We'll make sure you get some seat time!

I'll be available to instruct for the full day and I would like lunch.

I just talked to Igor Romashko. He registered himself (by mistake) as a student for Saturday. He's interested in instructing. He's been autocrossing for several years, mainly with clubs up north. I've ridden with him a few times and found his driving to be fast and clean. He's with WSCC, but not THSCC, so he couldn't post here himself. Can he instruct on Saturday? Let me know and I'll pass it along.

Okay Chris talked me into it...I'll do...

the full day
I would like lunch (why wouldn't I again?)

So who do I get to instruct? Whoever shows up with a car most likely to have parts fall off?

Half day (afternoon) with lunch. I may not even need the all of the first half for TNT.

Good deal w/ instructing part time in the afternoon. BTW, we autox VP's and the prez talked and you're welcome to have lunch. Be aware since you're a half time instructor, no free autocross on Sunday. We had to make some consessions for those instructors being there all day on Saturday.

Well - depending on what the dealer tells me Friday, I may be available all day or not at all.

Between battling a stomach bug and the stupid cam timing today, I gave up and made an appointment to take it in.

Chances are they won't get it done by Sat, which means I'll be good for the whole day, with lunch.

Anyone want a co-driver Sunday  ?

ok, update time.... the first post is edited to reflect current instructors. If Kendt has to bail, we're going to be short one instructor. We need at least a few standby instructors. If we can get a 1/2 instructor for the morning to balance off Jeb, we can have a minimum crew of instructors. We also have a wait list and if those folks show up, we'll be short instructors.

It would be nice to have a few standby instructors. We would appreciate a few standby names added to the list please!
