Last I checked, we only have 14 folks signed up for the test and tune. We're going to need 55-60 folks to make this work if we want course workers. If you have a notion to check out all of those mods you made over the winter months, nows the time to break it out go play. This is great time to adjust those camber plates and tires pressures.

Come on and sign up!!

While the concrete is nice and all, I'd rather run the Triad event because it's on asphalt and so is Dixie 2 weeks later. - AB

P.S. - Yes, I plan on getting banned for stating what I did

Ditto...

I'm looking forward to this t-n-t quite a bit. Just curious, are we running the typical format with a small unofficial timed section and another slalom secton?

These are so much more fun in a semi-unfamiliar/new car. Rodney, I'm sure you're ready to "get into" the GT a little bit. 8)

I'll be in if I get the Miata finished. Though that isn't looking too likely.

Here's my list.

Get Transmission fixed and reinstall it
replace clutch
resurface flywheel
Rear main seal
throw aout bearing
replace brake master cylinder (apparently I have a leak)
brakes
rotors
alignment
swap front saybar with the new bigger sway
cam sensor seal
valve cover gasket

I'm sure there is more, but I can't think of it right now.

Todd,

I'd be lucky to make it to a July event with that list in front of me. :D

The good thing is that the hard part is done. Wes and I pulled the tranny out on Sat. Now I just need to get it fixed.

The rest is actually pretty minor stuff so it shouldn't take me too long to do each item.

As a matter of fact, most items can be done in pairs or groups. Should take only a weekend or two to do everything except for reinstalling the tranny. That will take a couple of hours by itself.

If you get the miata fixed you won't have any reason to run FS. This doesn't sound like a good plan to me.

I can't wait to get my new ride out there. I've been driving it all around campus with much joy.

Here's a hint:

It's red/pinkish and turbo!

I am registering the end of the week. If anyone is headed down the night before and want to go halvsies on a room, let me know! Part of me is cheap, but the other part likes a good night's sleep.

haha close. The Branscombs let me borrow their 850R while both of my cars were in the shop. It's sad how much faster that automatic Volvo wagon is than either my BMW or my Porsche.

So if all goes well, the real "Bill" Gravely will be coming out to the TnT as well, so no calling me Bill! It's Ash.

There may be a competition on who with the last name Gravely can spin their Porsche the most times. Place your wagers!

Turbo wagons rule :) It's such "fun" to drive too...especially when wet where you loose a lot of steering action while spinning the inside front tire trying to move the dang car.
