I'd really like to back out of my committment to instructing if it's possible. I just learned that we'll have family visiting on that Friday and Saturday. If you're short on instructors, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

I think I can step up and make a commitment to go both days, but will I be missing out on test n tune time if I instruct?

there's the million dollar question. Stayed tuned. We're trying to come up w/ something here for folks that are crossing the lines between T&T and instructing.

Just a quick update: As of now, we have 39 novices signed up for school, so if any of you can step up and instruct, we'd greatly appreciate it!

I'm still in to instruct.

I can instruct. Emmie said she can "probably" instruct, unless someone waves Memphis NCAA tickets under her nose...

I can instruct by I will need a little TNT time and my co driver is a novice. The plot thickens....

I am planning to come down Saturday and will be happy to instruct. Running some before the event and at lunch time will probably be enough time for tuning as I haven't really made any mods over the winter.

Is anyone leaving cars overnight on site?

Folks have left cars and trailers on site over night and I know I'm planning on leaving my trailer there. Shouldn't be an issue. Unless someone states otherwise, I think it would be ok for this event as well.

All of the weather reports I've been seeing have been saying that around noon-1pm, the weather's going to get a bit fun. Saturday has a 50%+ after 1pm of "scattered strong storms".

I take it that things are going to go as planned until the weather gets real bad real quick?

Yes indeed, we will start as planned and see how bad the weather gets. Hopefully it won't get too miserable until mid-afternoon, by which time we should be done with all the runs.

Due to some work issues and the fact that my co-driver backed out, I am skipping out on the school and TNT. I will be at the event on Sunday.

Rob did you get a car to co-drive? We can share the Miata if you wish...
