Maybe getting married in 10 days with a week in Turks & Caicos will get my mind ready to autocross again.

Now that is funny stuff right there. Look what happened to Peterson...on the cusp of greatness and now reduced to instructing.
Actually, I was on the cusp of "mediocrity." The years before I got engaged I did over 30 events per season. After getting married that got reduced down to a paltry 23 or so. Had I known that Chris was going to control and "puppet master" my life so much, I never would have got married

This year I did 7 events and 3 schools. Any less and I may have keeled over and died

Seriously, this was Chris' year for driving.
I've now been reduced to begging for an occasional co-drive and watching the girls while mommy goes all over the country racing. True Story #1: I asked Kelly earlier this year if mommy was a race car driver, she said yes. When I asked her if dad was a racecar driver she quickly said no. At least she can recognize talent (and lack thereof) at an early age.
True Story #2 - Our neighbor across the street is a 7-year old boy. I was loading up the STi for Chris to take to the Finger Lakes Pro. He asked what I was doing. I was in a hurry and couldn't get the last tire to fit into the trunk, so after literally after answering about 5 questions and with sweat pouring off my face I told finally him I was running late and couldn't answer any more questions. There was silence for a second, then he said, "hey Eric." I said, "yes Grant." He responded, "why does Chris get to race all the time and you never get to race?" I said, "I don't know Grant, but I'll let Chris know you asked that question." I did go on to explain that we shared and took turns racing.
While I'd love to drive a lot more, autocross is actually more fun now that I'm doing fewer events because I'm more appreciative of simply being able to attend an event and my expectations are low. There have definitely been events where I struggled due to lack of seat time or driving an unfamiliar car, but it's partially offset by being so much more relaxed.
Aaron, I'm sure that you'll really enjoy the 1 or 2 event per year that Robin *might* let you attend
