I started looking for falken azenis tonight, and found a couple of different models. Which is THE azeni for a/x?

Any suggestions on where to buy?

thanks again,

(anyone see the movie, Johnny Dangerously? Saying "fuhlkin azenis" reminds me of "fargon bastages")

I don't plan on doing an Azeni group buy this season, too many hassles last year, but if you look on the internet for the best price you can find on your size before shipping, print it out, and take it to Discount Tire on 6 Forks. Ask for Howard (ONLY Howard!) tell him CHUCK FRANK SENT YOU from the THSCC AX club. He has promised me he will sell you a set for the lowest internet price + 15.00 per tire which includes the mounting and balancing. Only extra should be sales tax and disposal fee. (that should still be less than buying the tires off the internet after you add on the shipping and M&B charges.)
If you follow this procedure, and have any problem let me know.

thanks for the update frank...i got my last set of azenis through howard but this time i'm going with hubcap heaven...well, i'll probably buy them from discounttiredirect.com and then have them mounted and balanced at hh...they do road force balancing and they use the concealed weights...last year, the guys at discount tire used those nasty looking weights that stick to the front side of your rim.

plus i calculated it out and it is actually $3 cheaper for me to go with the discounttiredirect.com / hh combo and more importantly you get to support a local club member...thanks mark!!

Thanks all for your responses. I got azenis and can't wait to get them on the car!

I had already called Mark at Hubcap Heaven before hearing the "deal" on the group buy that Chuck posted.

Dealing with Mark at Hubcap Heaven for the first time was well worth it. Mark demonstrated some of the best customer service I've experienced in YEARS!

oh, man, I can't wait to get these on the car!

Jim are you daily driving these for the summer or are they spares for autox only. If they are autox only I'd suggest that you put them on and drive them around town for about 500 to 1000 miles. After mine wore just a bit I noticed a nice increase in grip compared to when they were brand spanking new. And then they've stayed right there all the way down to the wear bars.
