I actually liked Saturday's course better except for the finish. The perfect course for me would have been Saturday's start and Sunday's finish. While I can't say I drove Sunday particularly well :toilet: the first half was pretty much a flat out run to the pivot cone. I really liked the back half though as the slalom and finish kept my attention and was a decision point.

I still think that for me the pivot cone might have been faster going clockwise even though my fastest runs were counterclockwise. It was a really fun course. The only issue for me was the finish that was a bit tight and didn't really allow for a fast finish although I managed to slide through it on one run.

Nice courses I had fun

Well I've never met an autocross that I didn't like and this one is no exception.

I had a blast!

Kudos to Kevin who gave me a ride during the fun runs. Thanks to him, I got some insight on how to better handle that pivot cone...but it was too late to make a difference for my times. I really need to do some more ride-alongs with veterans to get a better idea of how to handle certain elements.

Lotta firsts for me: first time on r-compounds (thanks Dustin for the quick advice), first time ever changing a clutch (was freaked it wouldn't hold up with so few break-in miles on it), first time autocrossing an NX (haven't driven one in about 2 years also), and first time Michelle ever beat me in an autocross.

I'd love to see some pics if anyone has any. We snapped a few with our craptastic Sony. Apparently it's waaaay smarter than me as I haven't figured out how to get motion shots that aren't super blurry.

Thanks again to everyone who played a part!

Damn you, Jeff, and your photography skills.

Now I just have to decide which one I want.
