Bernie and I will be there for sure. I love the two day events. Our Sanford event will be a great warm up.

I'm registered. I understand that this isn't an ideal lot and I'm certain I won't arrive and find a Corvette friendly course, but we must defend THSCC superiority and retain the cup. With our talent pool, we can win it however they decide to determine the points as long as we have good THSCC representation. CCR put on the NCAC in 2004 and it was a great event, I'm sure they will do the same this year. I say we show our maturity as well as our driving superiority and let the others bicker and bemoan and just show up with a superior contingent and dominate whatever event they put on. Leave the bickering to the "lesser" clubs. ;-)

Well said. If I can find a ride for this event (not sure that Bryan will have the Vette ready), I would love to attend. I live about 5 miles from the site. - AB

I would offer a seat in my car, but it sounds like they are wanting to make the club cup a PAX affair :( and we need you in a more PAX friendly car if that is the case.

Where is everyone staying for NCAC?
Aaron, since you live close by, if they don’t have an event hotel, do you have recommendations for something close to the site?

Here you go....

CCR's website wrote:
Host Hotel Info

Comfort Suites
10415 Centrum Parkway
Pineville, NC 28134

The Comfort Suites offer microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and a sitting area with a sleeper sofa. They are offering a discounted rate of $81.00 instead of the normal $119.00. This also includes a full beakfast buffet. Their number is 704-540-0069 and ask for the NCAC discount. They are very close to the mall and also to several restaurants.

:car: OK guys and gals, there’s almost 90 entries in NCAC now and only 10% are THSCCers. If we’re going to bring the cup home this year, we need more entries. Come on, hot shoes, warm shoes, or no shoes-plan to attend to show club pride. Let there be no mistake that THSCC is the premier club is in NC.

X2, come on guys, we can't go down like this. Where is our AS contingent? Petersons? Fishers?

I would love to be there but I am not driving to Charlotte to run in AS with my car on crappy street rubber. :(

I'm not sure we've decided for sure...guess it will depend on car availability since we've become car whores! :) Besides, we are usually last minute register-ers.

So if I decide to go to this, should I sign up for STS, or should I go to STX? Meaning, is the club cup really going to be determined by PAX results only, or will trophies be factored in? STS and STX indices are pretty close (about 0.15 sec difference on a 30-sec course), so if trophies will be a factor, it might be better to beat up on STX... assuming someone else from our club will beat up on STS. :help:

If I go, it won't be because I want another trophy for myself. It will be because I want to contribute to keeping the other clubs in their place. :stick:
