This will be a two day event with Saturday being a non-points autocross and Sunday being points event #4. A season pass is only good for Sunday, so if you would like to participate both days, please make sure that you preregister for Saturday.

Additionally, you do have to register for each day separately; this makes it easier for timing and scoring and registration. If you preregistered this past weekend, please go back and review your entries to make sure that they are in the system.

The cap for this event is 150 each day, so please tell your friends that may want to participate, there should be room for them.

Bowie Senior has graciously donated his time to grill dead birds for us again on Sunday -- not too shabby considering that his daughter is getting married the following weekend!

David Spratte has designed event t-shirts that will be available at registration both days and they're pretty spiffy.

Raffle tickets will be sold each day, and we'll be giving away raffle items (and the 50/50) before the awards ceremony on Sunday.

Hope to see you all there, more details will be available at the meeting this Wednesday.

Wes

Bowie, Gwen, Stephen and I ran some numbers after the meeting today -- we're currently sitting at $5470 raised -- without selling a single entry fee, t-shirt, raffle ticket or chicken lunch.

This ought to be a great event!

$6535 was the final tally. Heck, the dead birds alone might push us over! :D

Speaking of which, Bowie needs two sets of volunteers:

1 set of 4 or so assistant cooks/ticket takers
1 set of 4+ drivers to give Marvin (Bowie's cook) rides on course in the afternoon.

Count me in as a ride giver Wes.

You can put me down for both. Bowie still owes me the marinade recipe for dead birds, so I'll be hovering over by the grill pestering him anyway. And I think Marvin might enjoy some 6000RPM clutch-dumping clutch action in the S2000.
