So, who's in?

Me and Art "FTD" McDonald will be there in AS, with brand new Hoosiers mounted up on the CCWs. Looks like AS is the biggest class there, with 17 drivers signed up

I'm pretty sure the dynamic duo of Spratte and Feinberg are going down in the unbeatable Type Argh. I think Aaron is going down to try his hand in an FS Mustang...who else?

I don't know if there's space left, but if you're on the fence for this one, definitely go. It's a really cool format.

Not me. As a matter of fact, I may be bailing on the DC Pro also.

I'm really looking forward to the event. I've only run one ProSolo before, long ago. I am hoping to vastly improve my performance over that weekend. As I recall, Lynne Rothney-Kozlak won FS that weekend, followed by Sam Strano, another 7 or 8 drivers, then some guy driving a Starion, and then me.

BTW - it's full, and the online registration is closed. You can fax in your application if you want to get on the waiting list.

Here's the entry list: http://ams.scca.com/netforum/eweb/dynam ... bb7009c669

I will be there in my car hoping to keep up with the others in DS. If nothing else it will be a really fun weekend.

Apologies Keith, I think I remember seeing you on the entry list now that you mention it.

AS is pretty stacked for this one, and reminds me why I like the class so much. Bunch of neat cars in there that could all win:

- E46 M3 (maybe? Dunno if one has been built "right" yet)
- Honda S2000, early and late model both
- Subaru STi
- Mitsubishi Evolution
- Solstice/Sky turbo twins
- C4 Corvette

Art and I have no excuses, the car is as well prepared as I can make it. I'm tempted to see if I can bum a data acquisition rig for this one, to see how he and I compare to one another.

I'm bringing the Datalogger for the Shelby. That way I can compare my results to Jim and Spratte ;) - AB

I was slated to attend, but have to cancel due to work obligations. (methinks it would be a bad idea for the project manager to be out of town the weekend the system goes live!!)

They let the Shelby in DS too? This "speed up stock classes" thing is getting out of hand!

Besides, I'm pretty sure we'll own you on, well, give me time-- I'll think of something... :)

If they measured 60 ft times, you might get me there considering I rarely drive a car with 300+whp, so I might spin them a bit :)

Seriously, it should be fun to try this format out with something a little different. - AB

They do but I don't think the software records the data. I know they were announcing them in the practice starts last year but I think they got a bit lost in the shuffle during competition runs.

So "Sector 1" it is! I think I'll name that sector "Sector JDM Rrrr". Since you don't have much experience launching a RWD car with torque and no electronic nannies, let me give you a tip: hold the revs steady at 5K rpms, dump the clutch and floor it. Gauranteed *awesome* 60-foot times! :D

I think you'll like the format although Saturday is going to be a looooong day. I think you, Karl and Art are in the same stock grouping so you guys are (sort of) directly competing against one another. Not for the class win obviously but you guys will be running against the same pseudo-index on Sunday.

I read about that. I'm grouped in Stock 1, so it's SS, AS, BS and FS. It should be interesting. Hopefully I'll get paired up with one of the local guys  - AB

Donna and I will be there too.
For Sunday: within the groups, you will be first paired up by "seed position" determined by your Saturday qualifying time regardless of class. After that it's a round robin double elimination format.

The only reason you need to stay in home that weekend is in case something goes wrong at work. That's EXACTLY when you don't want to be available. You can just as easily assign the blame the following Monday. Must we explain everything to you? :P

Well this is going to be some seriously fun times. The call goes out to Mark at Performance Chassis first thing in the morning - Mark, summon your finest, brand new Hoosier A6s, and bring them to me!
