This sport was starting to get spendy.
Wait until you get my bill for removing all the cone marks from the car. Despite what the course workers said, I'm pretty sure *I* never hit anything all weekend.

I'm thinking with you two driving you probably won't get great tire life out of your fronts anyway even if these tires were defective. Seriously 24-30 competitive national runs out of a set of fronts is probably "good". Going to cord in 12 runs is a bit depressing though.
I totally agree. It is definitely depressing after running nearly a full season on one set of tires the past few years. One set of the fronts are more or less toast after a Pro Solo weekend but thankfully the rears last a long time.
I'm mostly hoping we can eek through a couple more Pros with what we have and win a tire or 2 along the way to help offset the costs. Nothing is guaranteed for sure with the level of competition running in DS this year, however.

It might be worth looking at the front suspension components or maybe something with the shocks if you keep having issues?
I've actually had the entire front suspension off the car already. There are a few bushings I need to replace but nothing is too far gone at the moment. Oddly enough, I fixed a bunch of stuff in the front end after the Dixie tour earlier in the year and we didn't have much tire wear down there. We were running on the Kumhos which I'm sure was a big factor and the surface wasn't nearly as abrasive. On the other hand, it's possible that I messed completely something up.
