Waah.

Well, I guess it's one of those thing where, if I spend this large an amount of money on wheels, I'd like it to be an easier process than it's been.

There's still an outside chance the car will make it down. But it's a very outside chance at this point.

I'm just bust'n your hump. Just run street tires.

The street tires are at CCW with the custom rims.

Karl you could always help out the club in a BIG way and drive the bus down. At this point there isn't a bus driver.

Someone offer Karl a co-drive in exchange for him driving the bus there!!!

I'll volunteer a "jalopy rental" if he drives the bus, but given he WAS driving a well prepped A-stock car, not sure if he'd be interested in a poorly prepped fish out of water STS car.

Edit: looks like Bernie has since volunteered (well, Gwen volunteered him), but my offer still stands if you wanna drive it and let Bernie run his miata.

Thanks Brice for the offer. Unfortunately I'll need to be in the Raleigh/Durham area until I know whether or not CCW manages to get the wheels sent up to me via airline cargo on Saturday afternoon/evening, so I can't drive the bus down on Saturday.

I recall seeing that Mini somewhere this week. I just can not remember where or when exactly. Very nice none the less and I am certainly looking forward to tomorrow's event. :P

That's a really freakin' great shot of the mini. Very dramatic.

That would look really nice if I had put the rear fender skirt back on!

Awesome event today! Best autox I've been to in quite awhile, the course was super fun, very challenging and flowed really well. The Greenville site is awesome as well, having real bathroom amenities and food on site is unheard of at an autox!

Thanks to everyone who made it happen :D

Indeed a high quality autocross. Congratulations to Art for once again showing us all how it's done. I think this is at least four times my car has done FT Raw. None of which have been while I was driving

I just signed up for the phase one Evolution school, and I'm doing it on whatever's left of the Hoosiers after Danville the week prior. Seems to me I need to get back to basics. For over a year I've been telling myself "well, the raw times were great, I just need to stop hitting stuff (or DNFing)." I've finally stopped believing that things are going to get better without some outside intervention.

I had a blast! It's unfortunate (sort of) that I am relegated out of Novice Class due to my 1st place finish though. :|

It's time for me to be clobbered by some Mini Cooper S's I guess.

Excellent day indeed!!! You just can't beat our Greenville site. I picked up supper, ate, took out the trash and got a shower BEFORE 6:30. Does not get much better than that.

Special thanks to Chris Suich for pushing me HARD, I really had to work for the win. I guess all I have really needed to do to go fast is to bolt a seat to my car that does not slide so Vincent can't drive it :D

2 top 5 RAW's in 2 events this year, yeah this 240 aint that bad :)

my only clean run of the day warning: sound=bad. wind noise + camera rattle. engine also very quiet, so can barely hear that. the rumbling during braking is my abs kicking in. lots of tire squeal! violent wheel hop exiting pivot cone (oops)
48.541

had an awesome time!

props to shawn for beating the crap out of me
