72nd in PAX - WTF!   Not that I care much about PAX, but I think the index is a little off for SSM. The way things are going maybe next year the PAX will be .967, but for this year its .867

BTW Thanks for getting the results up.

Jeff

Nice job you old farts!

You run a fast car, you get a crappy PAX.

Actually I just had fat fingers when I was updating the software. I'll get it fixed today and get the corrected results to Carl this afternoon.

I believe there was an article in which a VERY reputable Japanese tuner mentioned that the Fit was a FANTASTIC platform for autocrossing...it just lacked power. I've been trying to convince my wife to buy one...I'm kinda addicted to the Suzuki SX4 but I'm skeptical of it's autocross (maybe Rally though?) potential.

How exactly is "scoring/timing" done on the bus? Is there also a paper copy that is used to jot down times before they are keyed into the computer? I believe I've got a discrepancy with my first and second run times. The second time should have been my first and my *true* second run is gone. I recall my second run specifically because the person who was announcing times read off my time, and then corrected himself and stated something like "...I guess you were going faster than we thought..." :) I believe it was 69.1xx I spoke with several of the staffers because, when the first scores were posted, I was listed in F-Stock (I was in STX), then when the second sheets came out I was completely deleted from the results. My wife, who was also in STX, was listed under FSP.

Regardless, I'm still first in my class, but I wouldn't mind moving up the PAX list a lil.

The "official" time is read from the timer display located inside the bus and written on paper, along with car class & No. and cone/DNF penalties - this copy is called Raw Sheets. The computer is handled separately and is the source for results printouts that are posted during and after the event. The computer pulls the raw time automatically from the timing system, raw time is not keystroked in. Cone/DNF penalties are manually added real time on the computer via dropdown box/cell on the computer display.

At the end of the event, T&S personnel audit the results by comparing the raw sheets with the computer, so the final results and associated printouts reflect any corrections made if any discrepancies exist between raw sheets and computer.

Yes, I should've mentioned that. Times are announced only as a convenience for the competitors and is considered a very low priority in the bus - no guarantees of accuracy as the main focus in the bus is getting the times and penalties recorded correctly.

My announced times and cone calls are always accurate and official.
