Adam and I were talking...who is going to run in STS next year...it was a pretty competitive class last season and it seems like everyone is leaving.

Sally and I are still negotiating a co-drive with Aaron in his Celica. If that happens it's up to her where to run (STS or Pro). Wes (Contour SVT) will be getting his feet wet next season in STS. Not sure about anyone else.

I'll be in STS next year, it'll be an interesting class to learn how to drive in!

Depending on how the "dedicated race car" decision goes, I might re-join you at some point during the year... in a Honduh!

For now, though, I'll be beating up on M3's and Z28's in SM.

Don't know yet. I am probably a few weeks away from converting my current car (98' Civic LX) back to stock spec so that it can be prepared for sale.

I am looking to move up, but due to limited funds it looks like I will need to keep with the same generation of Civic so that I can reused my shocks, springs, rear bar, wheels, etc. So that means a 99'-00' Civic Si which is not the ideal car for STS, but it should be better than the LX (that is what I keep telling myself). I am also a Honda fan and am having a hard time considering a switch to a different marque.

That model of the Si has held it's value pretty well, so it may take me awhile to find one that is a good deal, has not been abused and doesn't not have so much "bling" mods already that it would be costly to put back to STS legal trim.

I had also never invested any money in engine/exhaust improvments in the current car as I always knew that it (that specific engine) was not the one to try to develop in any semi-serious way. I plan to eventually (depending upon funds) do air intake, header, chip, exhaust and some other stuff to the new car. But I expect it will never be fully developed as Aaron's car as this will continue to be my daily driver and some sacrifices will need to be made.

So right now I am not even sure when I will have a car ready. Most likely not until the middle of the 2004 season. :( I was half thinking on the way in this morning of running the Honda Odyssey.

There is also a very remote chance that I might even run DSP Open (in STS trim and Azenis) or even TIR (in STS trim, DSP PAX and Azenis).

Is anyone willing to let me co-drive STS (or anything else for that matter) until I get my car situation sorted out? 8) How does most co-drive deals work?

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

Depending on what happens with Pro Class, I may run STS open as well. Local events will hopefully provide a good testing ground for the car now that it's prepped, but with only 3 weeks away to the first National event, only time will tell how good it is. - AB

Well at the first meeting of the year it was stated that both Pro and TIR would remain the same this years as last.

Looks like the new plan will be for me to doing some limited co-driving of Chris Brown's car in STS until I get my new car setup.

Thanks for the offer Chris.
