Question from my inner cheapskate.

If we've already bought a season pass, do we get credited?

If you plan to make the non-points event at the end of the year, we'd prefer you just apply to that. Otherwise, I'm sure we'll work something out ;-)

I don't want to turn down good instructor volunteers, but we already have a sufficient number of instructors for the 30 student entry cap as we usually shoot for a 2:1 student instructor ratio. It doesn't hurt to have a couple extra but we currently only have 18 students singed up for the school. I'm gonna start an "alternate" instructor list and any instructor that decides they can't make it I'll move someone from the alternate list. I also think we could handle 40 students at the school and then use 20 instructors, so lets start a recruitment campaign! :D I don't recall if we have ever had this problem before, having more instructor volunteers isn't a problem, but not having enough students is. Maybe there will be a registration rush this week as the school should now be open for non-members.

I know of at least 2 novices that said they were going to attend but haven't signed up due to the members only restriction that was in place. I'm guessing that it is probably lifted by now but I don't see their names on the list yet. I'll mention it again if they are still interested.

And if anybody wants to try their hand at instructing, I'd be more than willing to step back and just hang out. I'm planning on being there either way but I can switch to a "supervisory role" :D (read: backup) if somebody else wants to give it a go.

Jim

If it opens two weeks out, that's this Saturday.

I've got one non-member interested in attending.

I am working on getting a helmet for next weekend. If I don't have one by then I assume that would be a problem for novice school as all the loaner helmets would go to novices?

I am on the alternate list anyways so if I cannot instruct that is okay but I would like to know beforehand so I can make arrangements for the hotel and whatnot. Thanks.

Thanks again, we need at least 15 instructors. Colin, you should get Kevin and Sean to sign up too. :)

I guess I could instruct Colin on a few things, but then he might end up beating me.

If I'm off work I will deffinately head down there to pick up cones or whatever.

Bah. I do my own detailing now. In fact, I washed the car last night. Indoors, in my garage. Optimum No Rinse car wash FTW!

Just curious, will lunch be provided for the novice school? I think it has in the past. I know we're on our own for Sunday's event, just checking on Saturday so I can plan. No information on the web page on what's to be expected.

edit: well, not sure what I clicked on, but I see the info for the novice school now and there will be lunch. Need to learn how to click the mouse better....
