Poem, thanks for the accolades, but the Chick School is Chris Peterson's baby. Glad you're coming, however. Isn't your car front wheel drive? Maybe we'll be together part of the day.

Oops, well thank you then Chris!

Yes, much to Bob's chagrin it is a FWD car. I think I should figure this one out before I venture into more dangerous territory though. I've tried driving his uncles RWD E36-M3 before and it didn't go well

I've almost got Laura talked in to participating. She needs to see if she can the 3rd off from work. If so, I think I can get her there. We won't know until after the preregistration is closed.

No worries on the pre-reg date. Registration won't actually close, it's just a cut-off that guarantees we have enough goodies for everyone.

Have her sign up!!

So what are the non-chicks going to be doing in Danville while the school is going on?

We're only bringing the wife's car to save money on gas, so basically I will be in Danville all day Saturday with no car. So far the plan is to hang out in the hotel lobby until we can check in at the Sleep Inn.

Is the price of fuel really worth sitting in the Sleep Inn lobby for 8-9 hours?

Originally, I was thinking Danville was farther away, but I went back and figured it out and it will be about $21 in fuel for me to drive there separatly, so I think I will do that. I was guessing $40 before. I guess it just takes longer to get there since it is lower speed limit roads.

Also, are you encouraging the ladies to run LAD class or NOV class? If she runs in either, does she need LAD and DS on the car for example?

For someone who’s never run an event, Novice might be a wise choice since there are always novice walks before the driver’s meetings. Also, I think we have a Novice Coordinator who can offer advice, and perhaps a mentor. Personally, I always welcome more gals to Ladies Class. :D That being said, I’ll defer to Christine, but the best that I remember, no numbers or class id will be needed for the school.

Oh, and glad you rethought that wait in the lobby. Man, I just hated to think of you spending a day THAT way! :!:

I don't know what markings (if any) they want for the school, but if she runs in the autocross the next day, she should just run markings for LAD (or NOV) class, not LAD and DS. That would confuse things.

Chris, there's a karting track at VIR. You might see if you can get a group together for that.
