OK, the 2008 season is upon us. Now the big question. What class are you planning to run in this year? I know, for some it will be the same as last year.

I’m luckier than most, I guess, because I have a choice of 3 classes to run with the Mini. I’d like to run in HS, but who else will be there with me? I don’t want to run in a class of one. If we are indeed going to have the “Seniors” (Ole Fart to you, Walter) class, that’s an option, and I’m pretty sure there are a number of guys who mentioned interest in that class. Third, I could run in Ladies again. I gotta admit, 2007 was a blast in Ladies. Both the competition and the friendships made me look forward to every event.

So, who’s running where this year?

Most likely AS again. Big fields and good drivers. Although we'll miss Quistorff in the class.

Might consider having a go in X but I had a great time in AS last year.

STS for me. No real chance of winning it, but it should be fun.

I'm pretty sure Chris is planning on running Donnie's STi in AS again this year. I'm hoping to run several classes this year...pretty much where ever I'm lucky enough to find co-drives from gracious car owners. Hopefully I'll end up in CSP later in the season, if not, then I'll literally just drive whatever is most convenient for our baby sitting schedule at Nationals.

STU. Hopefully, we'll get a good crowd like we started getting last year.

You coming out next year Mauldin? I'd consider DSP if we got a few folks out regularly.

I can say that within the last two weeks, I have seen Jason and his car. They both do still live.

He told me at that time, that he was gonna buy some V710's and that he was gonna do some AX'ing in 08.

Of course I am holding one of his wheels hostage for $10,000,000 so that might hamper his efforts in 08 ;)

I'm in for X or DS this year since I'll be getting new shoes for the R.
