Does anyone local run a formula vee in autocross or other type racing? I'm looking for one that I can put a tape measure on and make some design notes.

Thanks

Hi John,

Try looking at Triad's website. They used to have 2 or 3 formula type cars running at their events in the past.

There is actually a "solo vee" which is a Formula Vee modified to be a bit easier to autox. might want to try and find one of those. I think they just run a different motor and wider tires. But I'm really not sure of all the changes.

Are you looking for a VW powered AX car, or a road race car? There's at least one sometimes two VW powered AM cars at most of the VMSC AX events in Dinwiddie and Richmond.

I'm looking for both really. I have a 71 super that I'm building right now and plan to autocross it. but I would like to get a Formula vee for putting on the track. I have more vw parts than I know what to do with right now, want to put them to good use.
