Have either of you run at triad's park and ride site? Just wondering what it was like.

The one and only time we ran there they had a loop the loop 1st gear traction circle in the middle just to make it a 20+ sec course. Fence all around, but with the size and traction you aren't likely to get up enough speed to be a problem. Reminded me of the size of the old Belk's lot in Morrisville than even Greenville. It was really cold the time we ran there so that didn't help the traction.

Yes, the NSX is in AS. Some even *think* it could be the car to have, but nobody as of yet has given it a serious try. Or at least the Zanardi edition should be the one to have, though good luck finding one.

I don't think that it has a leg to stand on, personally.

You know you are going to hell for that one, right?

I was there for that event and that course was one of the worst they had run there. I have seen several courses that were far better. Most of the time the course is only about 35 seconds sometimes it is less. It is normally still a fun event though and you don't have to walk very far to get to any portion of the course.

I remember that event as well. That may have been the CRX's maiden voyage when it was mostly stock. Quite possibly the coldest I've ever been at an event. It didn't help that the heater didn't work either. If it wasn't for the Rouse's old Jetta, I may have frozen a petunia off.

That's about right. My first ever event was at that old Belk's site and I remember coming away thinking this sport sure does suck!

They have used the other side of the Park & Ride lot on occasion as well and I always liked that area a bit better. I have no idea what they are going to use this time, however.

It was windier than a mother too. I remember that my contacts got pretty "fogged" up and the drive home was less than fun.

Yea, that wind was brutal! I vaguely remember that also being one of those strange days where the temperature *dropped* throughout the day as a front moved in. Brrrrrrrrr

Well we have everything ready to go tomorrow, but now we have to stay home. Came in from the garage to find a water pipe to the upstairs bathroom beginning to leak, so tomorrow I'll be playing plumber rather than driver... :(
I hate plumbing, especially in old houses with threaded pipe. The downstairs was all replumbed in copper by the PO when we first bought the house. The people that were renting let the house go cold and all the downstairs pipes froze and broke. The upstairs bathroom is the only part of the house with the old plumbing. There is no way I'm goint to be able to fix just the pipe that is weeping so it will entail a complete replumb. Not that it doesn't need it I just had it on the list for after the first of the year.
We should still be able to go to Atl next weekend tho.
Y'all have fun y'hear!
