Those who didn't go missed a GREAT event! With only 99 drivers registering, we ran 3 run groups and finished timed runs by a little after noon each day. After a 45 min lunch break plus some changes and reversal of the course we had 2-1/2 hours of unlimited fun runs, you pulled a 1/2 hour work assigment and the rest was run till you dropped.
The courses were large and of national style with multiple choice of line but only one best one. The site was of good size, slightly bumpy over the paving seams like VMP but with better grip than Topeka once you had some heat in the tires. Sat eve there was a social at a large sports bar where we were the VIP guests with free chicken wings and at least two free drinks courtesy of the SED. (since the turnout was smaller than expected, those in attendence got to drink the prepaid drinks of those who didn't show! Thanks for not coming!!!

) Good thing it was "fall back" night, an extra hour to sleep off the hangover...
Donna won ASL and the Div Championship. I threw away my best opportunity to take home a jacket by forgetting to turn off the *&%#$@ traction control on my last run Sat. to finish second.
