Y'all weren't the only ones. I drove like poopie.

Everybody is running around on the Triad forums praising the course but I didn't like it much. I thought it was easily the worst course at Danville this year but that is relative since we've had some outstanding courses there this year.

At this point, I'm officially blaming everything on the course. Well, just to keep Art happy, I'll blame 10% on Triad. :D We had a few lengthy timer delays in the first heat which probably didn't help our rhythm or apathetic mood.

when I was leaving on Saturday, they said they were basically leaving the same course from the trialcross, just tightening it up, which might explain your complaints about the course. Whats fun in 3rd gear might not be so fun in 2nd, Saturday's course was really quite simple (sweeper, accelerating slalom, turnaround, accelerating slalom, lane change, turnaround, short slalom, lane change, repeat), but very fast. If I can actually memorize it, its a pretty simple course.

Yeah, the offsets going out were right on the limiter for me; going into third didn't help either. At least I got to take novices along for fun runs to stroke the ego.

The course was very dirty on Sun, I think Sat event pulled up a lot of grit.
I couldn't keep the car under me at all my first run. By the time it got cleaner I was spooked and drove way too conservatively.
Did I mention I hate running in the first run group/being the designated course cleaner?
