Copied from TSCC's forums: (email sent out by Shane)

With the NCAC only a few days away, I wanted to send you all an email with some last minute details and a few reminders.

Online Registration:
This seems to be going very well with over 150 pre-registered so far. If you know of anyone planning to attend who has not yet pre-registered, please encourage them to do so now. Not only will it save them $10, it will also make the event run more smoothly. Conversely, if you are currently registered but know you can't attend, please take a moment to cancel your registration.

Food:
We will have Papa Johns pizza delivered at a few different times starting at 12 noon.

Tech:
Although it has been in the event description since day one, I just wanted to remind everyone that HSCC will not be accepting any club's "annual tech". ALL CARS MUST BE PRESENTED FOR TECH INSPECTION.

Car Numbers:
Your car MUST have class letters and numbers that are clearly visible from worker stations. They don't necessarily need to meet the letter of the SCCA code (which, btw is 8" tall for numbers and 4" for letters), BUT they must be sufficiently visible with regard to both size and contrast. If you need to print out letters and tape them to your car, I have a pdf file I can email you, but ABSOLUTELY NO SHOE POLISH OR TAPE WILL BE ALLOWED!!!!

Club Cup:
The format for this year's Club Cup will be as follows: For drivers competing both days, the top 10 PAX times and the top 10 RAW times from each club will be added together and the club with the lowest combined time will be declared the winner.

Run Groups:
Please note that these are subject to change with walk-up entries, but for now it looks like the run groups will be:
1) all STOCK except FS, GS, HS
2) FS, GS, HS, STREET PREP, PREPARED
3) all STREET TOURING
4) all MODIFIED, SM, SM2, PRO, NOV, Tire

All Ladies classes run with your regular class. Odd numbered groups work for each other. Even numbered groups work for each other.

Thank you, and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate let me know.

2007 NCAC Event Chairman

I certainly hope they have an alternate plan for more than 160 entrants, (like five run groups) or else we'll be standing in the sun in 100 degree heat for more than an hour and a half if everything goes off without a hitch. And It never goes off without a Hitch.

Wait. Hold on. . .

No. Nevermind. It was an eyelash. Those things hurt. Eye got a little watery there for a second.

Packwood, WA twenty percent chance of rain. 100% under that black cloud over your head. A pox upon you for flaunting the weather at us.

Oh, so it would be bad to point out that everyone paddocks under a HUGE roof at Packwood? Seriously, it's like the only autocross site in existence like that, I think.

Good luck to everyone. And for those of you who came out last weekend, remember what we talked about and how you were driving.

And if you think things are not going well, just remember....you are not at your second wheel-to-wheel race, on a track you have never seen and with a brand new motor :D

Jim, Thanks again for all that you and the other instructors did for us last Saturday. And, good luck to you at your second wheel-to-wheel race, on a track you've never seen and a brand new motor! Seriously, Good Luck and have a great time. We'll be waiting for your post.

Well, the forecast has weeded out a few of the less die-hard folks. Since Sally and Meghan are staying home, I'm here to offer up my cushy Saturday and Sunday AM tech work assignment that I pulled so we could baby sit.

I'm happy to work in the cooler hours, but if there are people that have "special needs" as I did, I'd be happy to relinquish my position.

Scott, It wouldn't hurt me to have that tech job. I'm not sure how I'll be holding up in this heat. If Gwen wasn't so gung ho on this thing I think I'd blow it off. PM me

Sadly, I'm not going to be able to make NCAC this year. Everyone in my house is feeling under the weather including me.

I don't think it would be too much fun to sneeze up a bunch of phlegm while I'm sitting at the start line or as I'm trying to negotiate the slalom!

Y'all give 'em hell!!

We've been baking ourselves inside the garage or inside the trailer for the last two weeks to get aclimated to spending hours inside an oven. :D
I unpacked and filled the new generator with gas and oil. I'll test it out tonight with the fan for tomorrow. 8)

And while I am certainly not in Todd's house, the same situation applies to me. All psyched up and prepared, and I won't be going this year.

Grab that Club Cup, guys!
