Should we include club affiliation in any particular field?

Woohoo! Thanks for the heads-up Stephen.

If you're on the fence about this event or new to the sport, come on out anyway! It will be a fun and relaxed atmosphere despite being the "championships" for NC and you will kick yourself for a year if you miss it!

Actually, if you miss it, I may kick you for a year so beware!

:P Dude, it's sweeeet! After much thought, I decided not to paint it in the Triad motif but it still should be easy to pick out of a crowd. It's red and looks *very* similar to the Camaro that eliminated Steve "Holeshot" Hoelscher in the challenge rounds at the DoubleX.

Thanks - hey, I'm still in my first 6 months of AX - think I can change to "Novice"

Edit - I was joking, but it looks like I could:

Quote:
Novice Class (N) - Competitors are eligible for novice class if they have run three or fewer autocross events before the beginning of the autocross season. If a novice wins a non-novice class at an autocross event, the driver is no longer eligible for novice class. Tire choice in Novice Class is subject to appropriate open class rules.

Go to "My Garage" in the upper right-hand corner, select "View/Edit" under Action, and do it there. I put "Tarheel" just to avoid confusion between THSCC and TSCC. We might want to suggest something like that for consistency for Shane et al.

Ok, I'm in.... hope some of you other STS'ers sign up. If I remember correctly last year, we won on have representation and scoring in the top 3 in each class, not winning each class. Also had to bail on Art's T&T, taking Jordan back to ECU that weekend.

see you on track!!

Nope, I believe it is pay at the event.

Hi guys,
Sorry it took so long to get online registration open. We kept running into complications which seems to happen with great frequency when dealing with such a large event (as I'm sure anyone who helped plan last year's event can tell you). Anyway, I want to thank everyone for their patience, and assure you all that the late opening of registration is in no way an indication of our level of commitment to putting on a truly kick-ass event. If you have any questions, you can post them here or email me directly via the email link in my profile. I'll start with this one:

I must be honest when I tell you that Highlands didn't really have any interest in continuing the Club Cub, at least for 2007. That, plus the fact that MyAutoEvents doesn't have a field for "club", is why we didn't ask for the information on the registration form. However, Stephen has asked me to reconsider and is in the process of setting up a meeting between the clubs' representatives to discuss ways to make the Club Cup more fair. As for designating which club you're representing, we will handle that when you check-in/pay at the event.
