Bernie and I always take the car up the day before and leave it on site. The gate is locked at night, so we've always felt it was as safe as the club bus, etc. I was told sometime back, no camping on site. I just wonder if *motorhomeing* is considered *camping*. Personally, I'd feel even better if a fellow AXer was on site to keep an eye on things.

I think the "no staying on site overnight" is an airport issue. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong but I don't ever recall camping being allowed at any airport site which is still active. That includes not only the sites we use but airport sites used across the country as well. Perhaps there is an exception somewhere but I haven't seen one yet.

It makes sense. I didn't figure we would be allowed to stay there for security and liability reasons. I just thought I would ask. For future events it would be nice to have this option ala "Motorstorm," if possible, but it would be a low priority.

When we had a van conversion we would just park it in an out of the way parking space in the nearest hotel parkinglot and stay in it. If you don't have lights on inside and/or music playing no one ever asked us to leave. Barring that is there a 24Hr. Wally-world in Danville? If so just pull into a parking space...

I think I know the answer (I did read the event description), but can someone confirm that there will be different courses each day, requiring you to run both days?

There will be different courses both days and you need to run both days to be eligible for a championship.

I believe you can run one day if you want but it will be just for fun. Not that running 2 days won't be fun. :)

You're asking that as if it's a question. Of course there's a 24 hour Wal-Mart in Danville. It's at the corner of Mount Cross Rd. and Piedmont Dr.
