Haven't you heard the latest? The Cary Town Council voted last night to annex Danville. The NCAC is back in North Carolina!

If I was drinking something when I read that it would now be on my keyboard.

Any signs of life for the NCAC event? I looked on the NCAC and Highlands websites, and myautoevents.com, and there's nothing.

Nothing since the original e-mail. I posted up on thier forum and the response was that registration would be on myautoevents.com, but nothing more than that.

Did someone ever make them an offer to use our system?

so what's the deal w/ the NCAC? I've looked at Triad and highlands and nothing. My situation is I can not do both Art's test and tune and the NCAC, but with Art's event drawing to a close for entry and no posting on Danville, time is running out for me to make a decision. Is there ANYTHING going on in respect to NCAC??

Damn, someone make a decision on this!

Rodney, I spoke to one of the highlands members this weekend and the story was registration would be open sometime this week? How accurate this info is I have no way of knowing. If there is nothing by this weekend perhaps something should be done buy the remaining clubs to hasten this thing along.

It is Belle Chere weekend, so I doubt much will happen in regards to NCAC. This is their showcase event.

Figure it takes them a few days to recover and then try and put on an NCAC....your best bet to run the THSCC event.

If you check their forum, it looks like they don't announce open registration until a couple weeks before the event date.

I know we have been nothing but patient waiting for this info from Highlands, but I hope everyone hangs in there. IMHO, Tarheel is still the most talented club in the state and the only reason we couldn't win the Club Cup again this year is lack of participation.

Gee, maybe we should threaten to split off with a few other clubs and run our own NCAC event!

Oh yeah, that is sooooo last year.

I'll be there even if I have to drive to Danville the morning of the event just to see if there is one or not.
