Well, we were there too, but that's the best I can say about our performance. We have never run a prosolo with that big of courses, we were shifting into third on the left side just as we made the very first turn on course! After that it was a thrill ride around a turn around then thru an open two cone slallom over a nearly blind hill into a strongly off camber turn back into a wild downhill giant slallom with two sharp turns into the finish at the bottom. Neither of us could get a handle on that side which should have been the quicker side. Shocks are supposed to arrive the end of this week, but not in time for the Atl XX. That should help a lot.
L2 didn't make class so they were combined with L1. Jeanette Jordan is a excellent driver even with a cast on her right foot, but with a FSP pro solo index softer than CS she was near impossible to beat except by the equally soft HS index. (I hesitate to bring it up, but there also seemed to be something just a little unusual about the "lady" driving the HS car... Maybe it was just me? )

I know the "lady" you're talking about Chuck. I heard rumors (facts?) about some alterations!?!?! I know that some people will do anything to get a national championship, but that is a little crazy!!!!!!

For those that don't understand exactly what they're talking about, Cara Ness, who won L1, used to be man, likely Carl Ness. He/she is 'mid' transformation and it was honestly disturbing to watch.

Registration stated that when 'she' registered for the event, that it said 'Male' on her license, but when questioned about signing up for L1, said the license had an error. From where I stood, there was no reason for this 'woman' to be running in ladies class.

Kind of reminded me a lot of Bridgette Olson from Utah. - AB

So, Doug Gill would have had to inspect the equipment in case of a protest?

I just hope she wasn't a Street Mod lady. . . .

(I'll be here all week, enjoy the buffet and don't forget to tip your servers. . . .)

Sounds like she was only Street Prepared.

Probably be Street Mod next year.

Should the mods change the thread to "AC/DC Pro Solo chat"?

I keep trying to tell you people-- if you're not going to National events, you're missing out on half the fun!

Hey, since you've changed your avatar, this seems like a good time to ask in, um, light of recent developments: Who is your huckleberry?

Jim
- hoping Wes reads that as a rhetorical question... :D

I suspect she had it in the bag from the start.
