Did I here someone say Chris Landi has 550 hp in his STI? He's gotta come.

That would have been Kevin and, no, I don't have 550hp. I'll be in beautiful Saratoga Springs NY that weekend.

I would be up for that, I have been wanting to suck in another form of racing.

It likely won't be ready by then, but I'll definitely be making a few passes down the quarter in the truck when it is.

Would this be open to non-members? My boss just bought a supercharged Saleen I'd love to see run.

I'm afraid I'll be doing the event chair thing, but if I'm not, I'm down. I'd like to see what the S2000 will do. I'm used to clutch melting launches at this point...what's another several?

On Midnite drag nights, the track is open to anybody with a car and $15 or $20 (not sure the exact amount). In the past, a responsible party has called the track in advance, warned them that we were coming, and asked if they could assign two lanes to us for our own bracket race. I don't think anybody would object to your boss running in our bracket.

I'm thinking that you'd rather stay in Laurinburg. A nice hotel in Rockingham is generally not that great.

Bracket racing is like PAX, or kissing your sister. Heads up racing.
"Run what you brung and hope you brung enough!"
I'm skipping Laurinburg in June - too many committments.
How about drag racing in Fayetteville when it is a bit cooler?
After this last weekend, I need to do a bunch of stuff to my car, like brakes and all fluids. All that stuff got really hot at VIR. I can't be ready by June 9th.
I'll let Dustin take my place since he beat me last time by what .087 with a 4 second head start!

I've never drag raced before but this could be interesting. I already have a good idea what the CRX would run (slow!) so that might not be too much fun. On the other hand, I have no idea what the Volvo would do so that could be highly entertaining!

Hey Buckley, how about a Volvo wagon death match?

I would have preferred to do this on a Sunday at Fayettville, but it sounds as though June 9 midnight race has lots of interest and it is pretty convenient and more in line with the traditional THSCC Drag Queen competition, so lets plan for this. I will soon call Rockingham and try to set us up special lanes for the bracket race.
