Maybe part of the problem was that the "test car" on setup day was my S2000? It just sort of does...whatever. And it transitions impossibly fast, so the taxiway course may have been colored by this? It's also got impossibly good brakes.

Just a thought.

I killed it on my last run for braking waaay too deep.

I only came close in my last challenge run of the first round, where the tires completely overheated and entirely gave up trying to grip after. I was fully ABS engaged and not slowing very fast, I actually had to turn through the little kink at the end with ABS still fully engaged and managed to stop inches from the last wall of cones. It was "interesting" :-) I required some ABS every other time, but that was the only time it was close at all.
