I forgot one - beat Whitney. Not that he's going to show up, so it doesn't matter anyway.

Art, I've got you covered by a second

Oil is changed, air tank is charged up, car is clean. It's on.

Why would I do that when I can beat Karl with his old shocks that he's letting me use?

At least they were manufactured this century. My ITR rocks like a boat but that's part of the fun in the lane changes.

My goals:

1. Have a great time while helping a great cause.
2. Keep learning the car's limits and lift less.
3. See what aftermarket pads do for threshold braking. These Axxis pads are noticably grippier (but dustier) on the street.
4. Top ten indexed & quickest DS car. I'm kinda worried about this Crossfire, um Benz, I keep hearing about. I've seen what they can do, right Keith? Torque > ITR zippiness
5. Not cord my V710's that just won't die.

If I were there I'd smack you anyway. But that's just me. ;)

5. Have fun! Some have been taking running down cones in a parkinglot WAY too seriously lately...

This from Mr. "we only care to do events with surfaces that prepare us for Topeka"?

It really makes no sense to chastise folks for taking RACING too seriously. It's RACING. That's what people do. I've seen your butt in a huge tizzy on MULTIPLE occasions at events. Not to embarrassing levels or anything, mind you, but certainly very worked up. We've all been there. Yes, even at local events...and there's nothing wrong with that. There's nothing wrong with the folks that never get worked up, either. But please don't go pretending you aren't in the camp that takes this VERY seriously.

Goals:
1. Take my lesson from the Super-Regional and drive like it's Saturday. This might be tough since I've been driving a Jeep for a week.

2. At least make Aaron work for the Prince of Pax title.

3. Eat dead bird.

4. Make it through 2 rounds of the Challenge.

5. Do my part to help put the V Foundation.

Right now I just want the hell out of JFK. Flight delayed for "air traffic." Lame. Lie to me. Tell me it's a mechanical.

Maybe an ITR in DS.
Or half-assed STX prepped 330.

Bring it on, Homer. You beat me by 0.086 seconds in the parking lot last month, but for the season I've got you by 6.196 seconds.

Anyway, I think you'll have your hands full in your little stock class tomorrow.

Casual trash talking aside - this much is true. Everyone should have an A Stock car this year. BTW, it's not exactly a "little" class...

Note, though, that I haven't trash talked Keith at all. I don't know if I'm ready to step up to that just yet. We'll see.

I've still got you covered by a second Art, so if you're going to beat me over the course of the season by 6.something, you'd better start bringing it  And Kauffman and Dishman may as well stand around and eat dead birds  Especially Kauffman...that guy's actually taken me off before!

I'll see you all tomorrow. Make your goals! I'm already packed - not that there's much to pack with an A Stock car when your impossibly large Hoosiers show up on the Barnes Express...

Data rig? Check. Tire sprayer? Check. Air tank? Check. Cooler, check, at least it's out there by the spare fridge. Check. Jack? Check. Driver gear, also check.

Camera? Oops. Back out to the car I go.

I think you misspelled "Peterson." :)

I'm quite a ways away, so if I was supposed to haul your tires, you're in deep doo. *cough* Or have my vehicles been misappropriated in my absence?!?

Pardon me while I call home... ;)

Goals: To find someone to cover tech inspection now that Jason bailed.

Who wants a work assignment in the am before the event starts?

I could cover tech if needed. What time do I need to be there? 8)

Okay, they're apparently on the "Allred Express." But on your rig. From what I understand. I dunno...I just know they're going to be there. Hopefully.

PM me, or heck just post, about your results at Laguna Seca. Eric told me you were out there, and I'm jealous. And, say hi to Drew Manzella for me.

I'm just monkeying around...I don't know the details of who is hauling what, but I'm sure my vehicles are involved.

I'll post a Laguna summary after it's all over. Probably during my SEB meetings on Monday and Tuesday in Houston. ;)
