I'm really on the fence. I've heard that this is one of the most fun autocrosses you'll ever do. But, the Peru National Tour is that same weekend, and I think I would benefit from going heads up with the likes of Wynveen, Hahn and Disimo in AS. I think the practice at a National event would also help me going into Topeka this year, since I've never done one of these before...
Decisions.
But yeah, I think this thing will fill up really fast.
You'll have more fun in Atlanta, I promise. Atlanta >>>> Peru no matter what the event is, IMHO. I'm a big fan of concrete, but if your problem is still not enough loud pedal, that will only get worse up there. That said, sometimes insane grip has the opposite effect...it's easier to get big balls and really go on it. Something to consider, though.
Peru is also notoriously hard on cars. And it's a lot further away. If I was autocrossing that weekend, I can say for sure that I'd do Atlanta. This from a concrete addict, too.
