Okay, now we have one tire and one class. Let's go out on a limb here...
one site, Laurinburg. Like the spec tire we will have course choices. It is the same course, but one event we run clockwise and the next counter-clockwise.

We can build a storage shed for the cones and timing equipment. No need for a bus or course set up stuff. Insurance and scheduling become a breeze. The course is already marked, so any one can set it up in a matter of minutes.

With this new simple approach we could add Saturday as a qualifing event. Only the top 40 drivers from Saturday get to run in competition on Sunday. You get one morning qualifing run and one afternoon qualifiing run on Saturday. We can start at noon on Sunday and still get six runs in.

That is the spirit. Before we do that I will need some THSCC funds to make sure the car is up to the standards we will need.

As long as we're all running in your car, it will be equal no matter what condition it's in. Funds denighed! It also won't matter what tire is on the car, so it should be the cheapest longest wearing tire available to keep costs as low as possible.
:D

I really don't think the demand is there in the club to drive an under-powered, 11 year old car without a backseat.
