What are you guys going to be driving next year? Also, why are you getting away from the RX-8?

The offer stands open if you want it. I'll be there with the car so you really don't have to let me know until the morning of the event.

You'll have to tell me about the D-stocker this weekend but I have a feeling I know what it is already.

I can't let you know now, but I'm sure it won't be a secret in 2 weeks. As for switching cars, well, my co-driver and my history is to swap classes every couple of years. This the 2nd year in the RX-8 and while it's fun being in a semi spec class, we like to have a change.

There were thoughts of a FS car and a different (ie. more interesting) BS car, as well as an AS car that we have researched as well, all pretty thoroughly.... down to gear ratios, available tires, weights, etc.

Bryan and I have both done well in the RX-8, and while I haven't won a championship in it, I feel I've accomplished more than I expected, so moving on may not be so difficult.

Hopefully Walnut Ridge this weekend will treat me to a double winner ;) We'll see. - AB

Please bring out the new DS car. More competition is always better. :D

If we go that route, it'll still be on streets, which may not be that much fun. - AB

I already asked that question in a PM...surprisingly, it's not.

And no, I don't know what it is. I know Aaron was kicking the idea around of joining us in AS, but he's turned his back on us. He doesn't know what he's missing...

AS last I checked was still the biggest class at the event. I think that rules.

That was my immediate thought as well. Not entirely sure what it is now. Off to go look at the cars that are classed in DS to see if I can figure it out.

Can you give us a hint? Is it brand new or maybe driveline configuration? I went through the rulebook and have no clue.

I know, and nobody *told* me not to tell. But apparently I better not.

I'll give the hint that it will be a new car off a dealer lot.

Maybe an ITR in DS.
Or half-assed STX prepped 330.
