How about this fall :D ?

I half-way thought about that. Only thing is, I was thinking since we didn't have one last year, it might be time for a THSCC Intermediate School.

Do noobs like me qualify  ?

Whatever the club comes up with I'd like to do. The 2 things I need most are instruction and seat-time.

Just a reminder (a late one too), that everyone who took the Evo schools should have already written down their personal review of what they learned and more importantly how they are going to apply that learning to their future autocrossing.

For those that took the Xtreme school, Tim Aro says we should expect to get our data files by this weekend. (Not that I like data or anything).

I'm interested in hearing from others in the Extreme school about your data files. I got mine, but it appears to have 2 runs on it - but I'm not sure if they are the same two runs for which I already have a print out. I guess I expected to get more runs in the file - although there is a distinct possibility that I simply have no idea how to use the software.

So, did anyone get data on their afternoon runs? How many runs were logged?

Thanks!

Chris, I'm still a bit of a neophyte with this software, but mine looks like all five of the afternoon runs where the datalogger was in the car.

Donna and I got all our runs, AM and 3rd session.
You did have a data logger in your car for the 3rd session?
If you want to email me the zipfile I'll take a look and see for you.

If I had to guess Chris, I'd say that you're probably looking at .raf file. I think that is meant as an example. If you open the folder (mine is named RT070421) you will find a number of .RUN files, each of which contains a different run and can be opened using the software.

Rick - you are exactly right. I was able to find 14 runs - some of them rather scary looking! Actually, what I was able to see consistently is that I had pretty good throttle inputs but the sweepers were uuuggggllllyyyyy! I'd have fairly smooth lines leading up to and after the sweepers, but the sweepers - all kinds of jagged lines. So much for making one big arc out of it!

Thanks for the help!!!

The jagged lines on the track maps are due to the low sampling frequency of the AX22 I believe. The same runs we recorded with the DL1 were smooth. Don't read anything into the track maps about your runs, they are not accurate/useful for anything more than indicating where on the run you are looking at on the graphs.
