Well, we made a small profit hosting the NCAC so we thought it might be nice to give back to the members of our club for putting on such a whoop- ass event. How about a free event?

In order to do this though, we need to do it in Laurinburg. Only problem is...the October event is in Laurinburg, so we would have to run there two months in a row. If you guys have no problem with it....we will make it happen.

Please vote!

This will only be free for Tarheel members. Others will have to pay regular price - $20 in advance or $25 the day of.

64 views so far and no comments. Dare I ask why the few people voting to have it elsewhere did so? Just curious if there is a reason we wouldn't want to have the event there that I am not thinking of.

I vote for Sanford.

Two reasons.

1: it is only 40 minutes from my house. :)
2: last trip to L'burg I went to the hospital for fire ant bites.

Oh, and $20 isn't that big of a deal, especially when you consider the cost of towing to L'burg.

I voted Sanford or D-Vegas because I seriously doubt that I'll have enough tire left after the last Loburg event to make it worth my while to do it twice and even think about a test and tune. And street tires are for wussies.

Sanford or G'ville. My tires will be gone and I will have the car set up for drag racing. I probably wouldn't drive all the way to Danville or Laurinburg.

G'ville is too expensive. My personal second choice would be Sanford though.

I thought about bringing this up, but the status of the Evo and its location would impact my vote.

Maybe an ITR in DS.

No brainer for me. Gimme Sanford anytime.
Extra 120 miles on the round-trip @ let's say, even $.20/mile is break-even at best. At the REAL cost of about $.35/mile... no contest.

I'd gladly pay $20 to save $40. Plus the extra hour on each end of the day. 8)

Plus Brad would rather spend that money going to the concrete canyons of Rockingham.

BTW....I left the poll open for 10 days. Which ever is on top at that point, takes it.

I'd like to volunteer to chair the Nov 19 non-pts event at Laurinburg. Wanna try something different - Vincent knows what it is. Cool We'd need an entry limit of around 80, though

???

It's in the autoX event chairs thread:

I would prefer Sanford, even for $$ because it is close. Mostly I hope it is near the end of the month(Havent checked the calender) because the car should be reassembled and debugged by then. Wherever it is I will probably go if I am up and running.
