I'll see if I can look into it and get back to everyone later today.

Ok, so the sleep in wouldn't let me get a block of rooms because of the BMW folks. They do still have smoking rooms though at $79.99 a night.

I am wondering how many people we will actually have stay over night. I have only ever stayed at the Sleep Inn in Danville. If someone knows of another good/close hotel in the area, I will be happy to call for a group rate. Anyone got suggestions?

Personally...I may just be a Tarheel BMW club member that weekend....oops!

Try the Comfort Inn on Tower Dr.

Usually "track-friendly". Probably $69
Nice bar & Restaurant. Usually have a Blues band after 9:00P 8)

I will be staying overnight as I am doing the Triad event the day before as well. I know Todd will want a room also.

Comfort Inn was a no go....the lady wanted me to sign some contract.

I just got a room at the Sleep Inn, rate was $79.99. (Comfort Inn was only going to do $77 anyway). They still have smoking rooms (but not many) if you can tolerate that.

Did you try the Best Western? Triad has gotten a block of rooms for $65 per night in both June and then again in July for the Commonwealth Games.

Good times can be (and have been) had at that hotel.
