I can't remember where that thing went. I think I gave the frame away. I've got a Standard Shaman right now, but it hasn't gotten much attention lately.

If the folks running in DS don't care, it should not be a problem.

Agreed Bret. It doesn't sound like the other DS folks have a problem with it. Again, the point of my post wasn't to encourage protest. It was more so a heads up to the drivers of all the clubs just to encourage correct car classing. Yes, your mod may in fact not be stock class legal...but I think it's questionalbe if you are really benefiting from it performance wise. If the other DS folks don't care....I don't think you are going to find opposition elsewhere. Just be aware that if someone protests any car from any club....you are probably going to find a lot stricter judgement than what we are use to seeing at the local club level. In Bret's case, he may have the approval of all the DS drivers that he "knows", but if someone not familiar with Bret's car files a protest, the rule book is going to win. We are fine with "Gentleman's agreements"...as long as all the Gentleman agree.

Just so everyone knows, the rules of the Club Cup are in discussion currently by the officers of all the clubs. We want this to be as fair as possible from the start. Often times at our local club events, we are a little lax about car classing and being rule Nazi's. As Jim said in his "The Spirit of the Club Cup" post, this event should attempt to elevate the level of driving state-wide irregardless of club affiliations. Keeping that in mind, everything at this event should be elevated to more of a "National Event" type status.

Can we please get some daily schedule information about this event? It's less than 2 weeks away!

Mainly we're interested in times for registration, tech, etc. We'd like to drive out there each morning and avoid the hotel expense, but if we have to be there at 7AM both days then that's not going to be practical. If we don't have to be there till 9, then it's no problem.

Information please!

If you are looking for an OX, I think my brother has like, 3 or something right now.

Suprisingly enough, I am still rocking both T1s... I just never made it into the light frames everyone is riding nowadays...

You ever get surgery on your shoulder? I am glad I finally got mine done as I can now work with stuff over my head :) You check out bike street and dirt this weekend? Ack.. makes my manual to tailwhips look lame :\

Bret, Protesting a non proformance issue IMHO would be a double weinie protest! It wasn't the car that beat you, it was the DRIVER!
