The Run/Work Order for Dante's Inferno

Run Work Class
1.......3....TIR,STX,DSP,ASP,FSP,DS,SS
2.......4....STS,STU,SM,HS
3.......1....LAD,ESP,BS,STT,ES,FS,GS
4.......2....CSP,AS,X,SSM,CS,FP,XP

Novices will run with their class. All other indexed classes will run as a class. You must drive in the proper group or be DSQ'd.

The plan is to have a 10 minute course walk between the 2nd and 3rd heat. The grid workers will align the classes in order in the grid. You can help reduce the down time between heats by using common sense and grouping as best as possible in class order. Two driver cars will have their own area in grid.

We will review after registration closes.

Edit: Added SS to Run Group 1. There is a novice with an Elise and not classed.

Correct you will do all 4 runs at once. then you are done running for the day.

Also, it will be determined whether or not we're doing 5 runs halfway through the first heat.

if I want to change my class as a consequence of this do I need to do it before hand or can I jsut do it when I register? I want to be able to spend some time with my wife during the day, and right now, she's registered for BS and I'm in STS, I'd like to switch to TIR. I tried "updating my existing entry" on the pre-reg page but it said the event file is locked.

Just change it at registration. Not a problem at all.

Brice, as I read the Run/Work order. With you in STS and her in BS, you don't have any conflicts.

You... run 2 work 4
Her... run 3 work 1

She can hang out or ride with you, and you with her, etc. You can potentially spend all of your time together (if you want to work with her and her with you).

If you move to TIR

You... run 1 work 3
Her... run 3 work 1

So for half the day, you would not be able to spend any time together. But the other half you have no responsabilities.

she'd be working the first heat, I'd be running the second heat, she'd be running the 3rd heat, and then I'd be working the 4th heat, we'd be busy with our autocross responsibilities all day, when would we be able to eat lunch together, for example? I'd much prefer to have us run/work at the same times, and be able to spend heats 2&4 together (under our shelter to cool off) with no responsibilities, if nobody has a problem with it.

She's not interested in riding with me anyways, she'd only learn bad habits. . .

Sounds great to me - you both get to watch the other from up close, and you both have a looong break in between working and running to just hang out, have lunch, etc. And you don't want to be working 4th heat.

Chris

The run work order up here is different than the e-mail that you send this week. On your's I'm on 3 and this one 4.
That's might affect the work list that you send this week.

ok, looks like Jim changed XP. on my you were supposed to work 2nd and i had you working 3rd cause that's the only way it worked out. now that Jim changed to you 4, it really doesn't matter...you can stay working 3rd....we can talk about it at the event if you have any questions.
