I know I can look this up on the SCCA website but I am lazy. If I keep my cold air intake on my Mini (S) and add a short shift kit What class would I be in? Any options?

Wes is right in asking if it's an S or not, but the reality is either way you're basically looking at moving to Street Prepared (or STX in both cases, I think). I think that would mean DSP for you either way, too (I know that's where the S goes, anyway).

I know that Cormier ran the MCS in STX, the ways that the rules read by the book, the MC is STS; I haven't been keeping up with the FasTracks though for a specific exclusion from STS.

From what I've seen you need more traction Cline, not more power and quicker shifts. Wheels and tires is where you money would be better spent IMO, but hey it's your money!

Actually I just need more talent, but nobody is selling that on the swap & sell sight like they are the short shifter. I just don't like the way the shifter is on the track. I think I wll get further away from a competative position if I go into a prepared class. But as always, thinks for your opinion!

Cooper S, I guess my initial question was a little ambiguous.

Then DSP on stickies or STX on street rubber.
